Meetha Pakwan is a dessert recipe and sweet-building app dedicated to the rich culinary traditions of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and neighboring regions. You can browse classic recipes, build your own sweets with the Sweet Builder, and save favorites.

Meetha Pakwan is available as a web app at sweet-dish-maka.lovable.app. Mobile builds for iOS and Android are in active development.

No. Meetha Pakwan works without an account. Your saved recipes and favorites live on your device.

Yes — the core experience (recipes, Sweet Builder, favorites and custom recipes) is free to use.

Open Sweet Builder, then pick from ingredient categories — base (milk, semolina, lentils), sweeteners, spices, nuts, dried fruit and garnishes — plus a cooking method (boiled, fried, baked, frozen, syrup-soaked). The app assembles your selections into a draft sweet you can name, save, and refine.

Yes. After building, tap Save to add it to My Creations. From there you can edit, favorite, or share it.

That's the point — Sweet Builder is for experimentation. We surface inspiration from classic sweets but never block creative combinations.

Yes. Use Add custom ingredient in any builder step. Custom ingredients stay in your library for future use.

The growing library includes Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Gajar Ka Halwa, Kheer, Firni, a range of Mithai varieties, fried sweets, frozen desserts and syrup-soaked sweets, with new recipes added regularly.

Go to Recipes → Add Recipe. You can enter a title, ingredients with measurements, step-by-step instructions, preparation and cooking time, servings, difficulty level, and tags or occasions (Eid, Diwali, weddings, etc.).

Yes. Open Settings → Units and choose grams, cups, or both. Recipes will display in your chosen unit.

Tap the search bar and switch to the Ingredients tab. Add one or more ingredients you have, and the app shows recipes you can make from them.

Yes. Open any recipe and tap the share icon. You can share via your device's share sheet, copy a plain-text version, or print directly on supported devices.

Yes. On the recipe screen, tap Servings and choose your target number of servings — ingredient amounts update automatically.

Open the recipe and tap the heart icon at the top. The recipe appears in Favorites for quick access.

They are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Cloud sync is on the roadmap and will be opt-in. For now we recommend using the Export feature (Settings → Export data) to save a copy you can re-import later.

Unfortunately no. Because your data is stored only on your device, uninstalling or clearing app data permanently removes it. Always export before uninstalling.

No. Meetha Pakwan does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, phone or location. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

No. The app contains no advertising and no third-party advertising SDKs.

Go to Settings → Reset app data, or simply uninstall the app. Both options remove all locally stored recipes, favorites and preferences.

The core app is free. We may introduce optional add-ons (such as themed recipe packs) in the future — these will always be clearly marked.

Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We're happy to help you locate the right link — email us.

Try closing and reopening the app, then make sure you're on the latest version. If it still crashes, email us your device model, OS version, and what you were doing — we'll diagnose quickly.

This usually means a temporary network hiccup. Check your internet connection and pull down to refresh. Saved recipes and your own content do not require a connection.

Make sure you've selected at least one base ingredient and one cooking method, then give your creation a name. If the issue persists, please report it via the bug-report form below.

Go to Settings → Language and choose from the available languages. Language detection follows your device by default.
